What have we learnt about technologies in our media work?

What have we learnt about technologies in our media work?

We learnt a lot about technology when filming, editing and evaluating our thriller. We used different types of technology to create our thriller these are:

Google
W
e used Google to help access different websites such as Pearl and Dean. We found this useful as we got lots of information

Youtube

We
used Youtube to get clips of different thrillers to help compare them to ours, also to get different ideas of what we can do when filming our thriller

Pages

We used pages to store our information on thrillers, this is so that we could look at our information if we wa
nted to change or add anything. This was very important when storing the data we have gathered.

Video camera

We used a video camera to film our thriller; it was simple using the video camera, as we didn’t have lots
of camera angles to film it from so we found it easier.

Camera
We used a camera to take pictures; this is because we have evidence of us working. Also we can take picture
s of the cast to show who is in the film and an idea of what the characters look like and expressions.

Tripod
We used a tripod to hold the video camera; this is so we would get steady footage rather than footage moving when it isn’t meant to. This means our overall thriller will be better.

Blogger
We used Blogger; this is also similar to Pages because we used it to store our information. We also used
to place all of our information together to put as a final project.

Garage band
We used garage band to create the music for our thriller, we used it because it helps us to make our thriller better as it will had tension and a sense of mystery. Garage band is difficult to use because we had to put all of the different instruments together.

Final cut pro
We used final cut pro to edit our thriller opening, this was the most important thing we used because editing was the main part of our work. Final cut pro was hard to use as we had to cut each bit and change them about to put our thriller in order.
