Creative risks when filming

Creative risks

When filming our thriller, we had a risk we had to take. This was because we had to film Sandra getting run over. Even though we used a special technique so that Sandra wouldn’t get hurt. The technique we used was by not actually running her over, but to drive the car at a very slow speed and as the car hits Sandra it stops and then she falls onto the car. Even though Charlotte was meant to drive the car and hit Sandra, she didn’t as she has not got a full drivers licence, that’s why she was not seen driving the car. The driver of the car was Patrick Moran (Charlotte’s dad). We know that Patrick would be a good as he has a fully drivers licence and has been driving for over 30 years, so he has had lots of experience. Also when filming the car crash we use a quiet road which was small which many people don’t go down. This is because it would help reduce any harm.

Another risk when filming was the weather, when we filmed the car crash we wanted it to be a rainy day because It would add special effects to our thriller and make it seem more mysterious and gloomy. So we had to watch the weather so that we could film on a particular day.
